Not just for complex wealth.

This system is not reserved for multi-country portfolios or high-net-worth families. A single property, a pension you're not entirely sure about, some savings, some debt, and a nagging feeling that you don't have the full picture — that is exactly the situation it was built for.

The families who benefit most are often those who almost didn't buy it.

There are two numbers. The one you think you have, and the real one.

The system that answers the question most families have never properly asked.

Most families with a meaningful asset base - a home, an investment property, a pension, a business stake - have a rough sense of what they own. Very few have ever calculated what they would actually have. The real number. After all selling costs. In the currency that matters to them. Family Wealth Safeguard walks you through everything your family owns - and for property and land specifically, calculates the real net proceeds after local taxes, agent fees, and selling costs. For all other assets, you supply the honest valuation. The system does the rest, in almost any currency.

Why I built it

I've spent over 30 years working across businesses, borders, and boardrooms. I've helped companies grow from nothing to something substantial. I've negotiated contracts worth millions. I've advised CEOs, sat on boards, built teams across the UK, Europe, Jordan, the Gulf, and beyond.

And for most of that time, I didn't have a clear, honest picture of my own family's finances.

Not because I wasn't capable of it. Not because I didn't care. But because no one ever taught me how to think about it properly, and I was too busy building to stop and look clearly at what we had.

We had assets. Property in more than one country. Pensions. Savings. Things accumulated over decades of hard work. On paper, it looked like we were doing well. But when I tried to see it honestly, after the mortgages, after tax, after the cost and time it can take to turn assets into real money, the picture was different. More complicated. And in places, more uncomfortable than I expected.

We had also missed opportunities. Not through carelessness, but through not having the right picture at the right moment.

That stayed with me.

Over three decades of working internationally I saw the same gap everywhere. Families who had worked hard and built something real, but who had never sat down and calculated what they would have if they needed it quickly. Not the paper number. The real number. It wasn't unique to any one country or income level. People doing the right things, building carefully, but without the tools to see it all clearly in one place.

The wealthiest of families often have accountants and wealth managers for this. Most families don't. And most families never get the clarity they deserve.

I spent a long time building a system which changes that.

I built this because I wish someone had built it for us. I hope it gives your family the clarity, the confidence, and the honest picture you deserve.

How does it work?

Family Wealth Safeguard works by taking you through every asset you own, one by one, and asking the question most people never ask: what would this actually bring, especially if you needed to sell it now? The system is dynamic so any changes or additions to your asset base and values will immediately be populated throughout the system, thereby keeping everything up to date (my suggestion is to review it every quarter for the first year then annually).

For property and land, the system walks you through the local taxes, agent fees, and selling costs. For everything else, it is you who puts in the number, and that process of sitting down and honestly valuing what you have rather than what you imagine you have, is where the real work happens. The result is a clear list of all assets, categorised and realistically valued both in the currency from where you own them (for instance a holiday home in Spain or an investment property in the US) and your home or chosen base currency (the system can handle pretty much any currency and any country). The full asset list gives you your family's gross asset value (your current true total realisable wealth). The way the system categorises each asset also gives you two critical benchmarks: your Risk Action Plan (how to mitigate the risk associated with each asset class) and your Mobility Index (the percentage of your wealth you could access within days).

The system also provides a 12-month cashflow forecast which includes a cash health monitor and traffic light warning system.

By the time you have added your data to the system and begun to digest the true picture from everything it gives you, you will be well equipped to deal with anything highlighted as being problematic, either right now or perhaps when you had planned to sell something that suddenly doesn't look as straightforward as you first thought.

With the clarification of your family's situation, you will also be ready to start the process of building your family's Red Folder. This is your family's operational emergency manual. It contains everything a competent close trusted adult unfamiliar with your affairs would need to understand your financial position and take appropriate action. The system provides the complete list and gives advice on how to build and use it.

Part of the Master Dashboard

This is part of your family's complete wealth picture (the example here has dummy data). This section of the Master Dashboard automatically calculates your total net worth in your chosen currency, splits your assets between liquid and illiquid, and shows your Mobility Index - the percentage of your wealth you could access within days. Every number updates automatically as your data changes. The full Dashboard also includes a 12-month cashflow forecast with a traffic light warning system.

A glimpse inside the system

The Strategic User Manual walks you through the thinking behind every number. This is an extract from Part Two - showing you which types of family the system is built for.
